Julie Moore
Having worked previous demanding jobs in social services and experiencing the burn-out effects of work-related stress, Julie found Massage Therapy was one of the things that helped her deal with stress during that difficult time and she wanted to be able to help share that benefit with others. Julie entered the field of Massage Therapy in 2006 after graduating from D’Arcy Lane in London. Her treatments take an individualized approach depending on each client’s needs. She has taken additional courses in pregnancy massage, infant massage, myofascial release, reflexology, cupping, and acupressure. While Julie has treated a wide array of conditions over the years she has a particular interest in helping those who are dealing with the effects from stress and anxiety, insomnia, headaches, pregnancy, and general muscle-related aches, pains, and tension. Julie’s massage style blends lighter to moderate, slow Swedish massage techniques with different influences from other modalities she’s studied over the years such as fascial work, craniosacral therapy, and gentle joint mobilization.
